These are the best hot dogs. This is an iconic place and has had the best dogs in South. I can remember when you could get 2 for .30 cent. 50 years later they are still the best and taste the same. A true tradition!

I LOVE going to Jimmie's Hot Dog everytime I go to Albany. My grandma used to take me here when I was a little girl. They taste AMAZING and are really well priced. They can make them any way you like them! It's within walking distance of the RiverQuarium and the park right by the Flint River so it's fun to buy a bag of hot dogs and enjoy them in the park.

Good food. Prices have went up since the last time I visited.

It's Jimmie's and for people that know this place, it is all you need to know! However, if you are not familiar with the place, come try a good hot dog and find out for yourself about this historic landmark!

Passing through Albany and couldn't resist the urge to satisfy my childhood cravings. My father would order a sackful and unleash me and my brothers only to find us in a food coma shortly thereafter! Im glad to see that all these years later, Jimmy's has not changed much or compromised on quality and customer service. Still a great experience and cant wait to return!

Heard so much about the hotdogs my family members grew up on. The Hotdogs were not hot and the man fixing the hotdogs handles the food without gloves. He used his bare hands. Not cool. Had to pray over my food.

Best Hotdogs Ever!!

Haven't been there in 26yrs, but it is just as I remembered it to be. A quaint Hot Dog stand across from the bus station. And the hot dogs are just as good as ever. A simple hot dog with mustard, chili, & onions - nothing else is needed for a truly simply delicious memory from the past.As I have always said, "Simply one of the best hot dogs in Georgia."

My last three times there,dontknow if he owns the place but he was hollering at the women that was working there and they looked intimated,I will never ever go there again,food quality is at its lowest,he has gotten rid of the best and most friendlest people that ever worked there,the way you do business and no respect of customers as myself,you will never prosper trust me

I went to the one in Leesburg and It was not good. The hot dogs do not taste the same as the one in downtown Albany. It was a waste of money very disappointed!

I love Jimmy's. I mean I love them. This place is one of the things I miss most about my hometown. The food is always awesome and the service is fast and friendly. These are the best hot dogs I have ever eaten and it's easy to see why they are rated the #2 best hotdogs in the nation. I think they should be #1!!!

I ordered three hot dogs with no onions and much to my surprise they put cheese on them. I started eating Jimmie's hot dogs in 1960 and when the opportunity is presented I will purchase a few. The original didn't have cheese. Extra mustard sounds good, but cheese did not make it better.

Home town memories! We ordered 4 all the way with onions! Still taste good! Although, I think the original owner; who passed on many years ago took the exact secret recipe for that chili to his grave. That said, they are better than Varsity, Atlanta GA "What da ya have, What da ya have"? That's my opinion! and My taste buds!

Best hotdogs in South Georgia. And least expensive. 4 chili for $5. Only thing is no where really to sit. We eat in car. But it is wonderful.

An Albany institution. Famous for over 50 years! I grew up eating these my whole life and now that I've moved away I HAVE to get a few EVERY TIME I come back to visit. Highly recommended but they only take cash!

By no means is it a five-star restaurant, but it is a five-star hole-in-the-wall hotdog dive. Cash only, Simple, takeout only, tons of character, a unique experience, a local icon. Serves the best little (... not good for you or healthy at all...greasy... smelly...) red hot dogs They have a red tint to them and I am pretty sure not a color you would find in nature. Eat at your own risk... but I love them and every time I come to Albany I eat Jimmy's hot dogs. I'm still kicking.

The best hot dog I've ever had no matter what part of the country have been in. The slaw dog is especially second to none. If you ever get a chance to make it to Albany Georgia make sure you stop by Jimmy's hot dogs and order a chili dog and a slaw dog and decide for yourself which one you like better.

I stopped in here based on all the great reviews. This is not a place to go for a great hot dog. The dogs are the red cheap ones served up fast and cheap with slaw or chili on top. It is cash only. I ordered a few different dogs, and I can see why locals rate this place so high. It is a local hot dog stands with an atmosphere you could not recreate anywhere else. Everyone was happy and the people gathering to eat outside were all enjoying their hot dogs. It is worth a stop just for the experience.

Tiny tiny hot dog. Went to the new location in Leesburg. Asked for all-beef hot dog. Was told no. Flavor was just ok. Crew very disorganized. Their tiny hotdogs should only cost .50 cents. Won't be back.

This place is an icon in Albany, Ga. The hot dogs and slaw dogs are the best to me and many others. People who were raised here and move off still come back for a sack of Jimmie's Hot Dog's. I overnighted my son some for his birthday one year to North Carolina. He said it was the best birthday present ever.

Good dog for a $1,25! Pretty basic joint with pretty good food. Hot dogs onoa good bun with chilli... onions and mustard. You get slaw dogs as well. I got (5) for $6.25. Can't beat that AND they are super nice!

This establishment has been around for a long time. I remember eating their chili dogs since I was a little boy. However, the taste isn't quite the same could be a change in vendor. Though this shouldn't stop you from stopping by for a taste.

Hole-in-the-wall institution with amazing hot dogs. Get slightly lower price if you pay in cash. Only canned beverages and with no where to sit you have to take away. The smell in the car is so hard to resist while you drive home...

These are small, red hot dogs on a soft split bun. We got chilli and cheese on ours. The chilli is a meat chilli. We got 4 dogs for 6 dollars and change. Cheap treat, but I've had better.
